hopefully the formatting i used works in this forum correctly since i just copy and pasted it from a txt file on my computer Ok here it is just remember that its slightly old so its possible that some games may run better. I do get 60 fps in Burnout 2 and some other titles though. Having said that, I get the feeling that the Dolphin emulator is at a very mature state so this makes me wonder. An over clocked 4.0 Ghz Desktop CPU is possibly just enough to offset some of the unoptimised areas of code much like how a Quad Core can play unoptimised games better than a Dual Core can in PC gaming.
Regardless, the mobile i7 620M clocked at 3.06 ghz on both Cores still does not get full speed in many Ps2 titles but I still think that is more due to the code of the emulator. Both of us have the same settings, the same emulator version and his CPU speed is higher than mine (mine Turbo Boosts lower than it could do). I figured the performance in Zelda Windwaker would have been the same with MagusDraco's i5-520m but it isn't so I wonder whether it is due to the CPU or down to the GPU now. From my testing, the mobile i7 820qm performs about the same as the mobile i7 620m at 3.06 Ghz.
